The Inverted Tower
Another RPG game?
I have been playing RPG games for a long time. Because of that, I always had some idea of a game I could call mine on the back burner. This is the current iteration of it.
The focus isn't to make a real game. I want to make a system that invokes the spirit of wonder I had when I was a kid playing RPGs. To do that, I want it to be abstract enough to leave much to the imagination.
Dungeon Crawler RPG Meets Ameritrash Boardgame sans the board part.
What makes it different?
Can (and is expected to) be played solo, with minimum physical materials.
Focus on mechanics and not on the setting. You can add the setting yourself.
Very quick to start, very quick to play.
Can be stopped and picked up anytime. Works well for us with kiddos.
Draft 4.5 (current version)
Found jotted down in a dusty notebook from my younger days.
